This was part of our technical drawing class, we had to copy an original image. I wanted to be a bit more creative, so I used only gray paper, black markers, and white prismacolor pencils to create this image. All of the gray in the tank and elsewhere is the paper showing through with shading and highlights. It took a while, roughly a week while in school, also working on other things.

The original art is roughly 8"x16" or so, and is framed on my wall in my office at home. This scan doesnt look very good, and I am most likely going to take some good photos of it now that I have a nice camera rig.

The original image is from an ad for custom motorcycle wheels. I cant remember off hand who the ad is for, but I have the original advertisement stored away with good copies in my physical portfolio. Not pulling all that out right now...

This is my dads favorite piece of art I've done, funny since its the last true 2D piece I did.
